Ethernet: If your internet router has an Ethernet connection available, your Hub can be plugged directly into your Internet router to enable it to communicate to your smartphone and the monitoring station. Wi-Fi will not be necessary.
Ethernet & Wi-Fi: If your internet router does not have an Ethernet cable connection available (the router may not have one or there may already be a device connected to the Ethernet port), it's necessary to add the Wi-Fi connection option to the Hub to enable it to communicate to your smartphone and the monitoring station.
Cell Backup: Add cell backup to your Hub in the case of a power or internet connection disruption. This is available for Hubs with just Ethernet, or with Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
